CYCLES Learning Centre’s first responsibility and priority is towards the children in its care as we believe that all children have an absolute right to a childhood free from abuse, neglect or exploitation. CYCLES Learning Centre recognises that safeguarding and student welfare is of paramount importance and to that end we will always put the physical and mental well-being of students first. All adults involved in CYCLES Learning Centre’s activities and who come into contact with children have a duty of care to safeguard and promote their welfare and to ensure that this happens, we at CYCLES Learning Centre all have an enhanced DBS check which will be yearly updated and are trained for safeguarding children.
A copy of CYCLES Learning Centre Safeguarding Policy will be sent to parents upon request.
If we have any cause for concern we will report it, following the Local Safeguarding Children Board procedures. We understand that child abuse can be physical, sexual, emotional and neglectful, or a mixture of these. We will notify the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) of any allegations of abuse that are alleged to have taken place while the children are in our care.
